Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada

Hi friends! Today we're recognizing Canada Day, and I'm sending a little appreciation to my readers to the North.  I've found a house with an attached lighthouse in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. (Anybody remember the book Cheaper by the Dozen and how they summered in a similar house?)

Take a look- it's cozy inside, and has the look of a summer rental.

Let's make it look like we're here to stay.

I wish I knew the source for this room.  I like how the colors are plentiful but balanced.  They make this room look collected over time and playful, just like it should look.

The dining room is in the L-shaped space with the living room.

Isn't that cool how the fireplace stone wraps into the dining room?

Is that grass cloth wallpaper?  I like how it's a similar color to our hutch in the living room.

Upstairs, the master bedroom overlooks Frederick Cove.

I like this image so much, and the thought of it in a Canadian lighthouse just makes me happy.

Here's the bed side of the room:

Even FURTHER upstairs is an attic divided into two rooms.

There we go- secluded and cozy.  The views from up here must be wonderful.

I know I say this a lot, but this house is one of my favorites in terms of potential. Hope you enjoyed exploring Summerside with me!
