Greetings from Petersburg, Alaska! Today we'll be looking at ways to spruce up this mountain view home overlooking the Wrangell Narrows.
Ok, so clearly storage was a bit of an issue here. Let's make that more decorative and less obvious.
The foyer opens onto this living area, with a woodburning stove.
I would really like to see this room paneled, with a floating shelf behind the stove, and the chimney pipe painted solid black. This is the inspiration photo:

Next up is the dining area, with its fabulous harbor view:
This design fits the space nicely and doesn't take away from that view.

Let's just finish building it out and add some of those warm colors and neutrals from the other rooms.
All in all, it's all about natural beauty in Alaska, and now we've brought that out in this house.
