Middlebury Road, Watertown, Connecticut

There's just something about a sweet and sturdy farmhouse sheltered by pine trees.  This one is in Watertown, Connecticut, whose promotional video suggests enjoying the bustle of downtown Watertown.  However, downtown actually looks charming and blissfully free of bustle, just like the 1930 home above.

Yep, no bustle here:

Let's keep it that way.

No bustle. Just naps.

Although our inspiration room, like our listing house, is in CT, Elizabeth also has a wonderful "little glass house" in Santa Barbara.

Elizabeth has a fresh California style that I'd like to emulate. Even though I've lived in California for over twenty years, my style is probably best described as CaliHoosier, if that's a thing. We'll say it's a thing. Coastal-Traditional. At least I've used her same paint color, Benjamin Moore White Dove, which is a good start!

The listing is here.
